XF 1.4 Wrong Count In Two Forums

There are two forums which show wrong count in the forum list page. The home pagge shows correct count, though. Screenshot is posted for one of them. It shows 9 instead of 11. On the other forum in same node it shows 9 instead of 16. I have tried rebuiding etc but nothing seems to fix this. Any idea as to how this can be fixed?

In fact i just checked few other forums too under different nodes and the error seems to be there. The count shown is less than the count that shows on the home page. Home page is all correct, it is the forum list page that shows less count. So this is not just restricted to one node.

Are any of those threads sticky?

Yes in case of 11 as in screenshot, 2 are sticky and in case of 16 being shown as 9, 7 are sticky. So looks like sticky aren't counted? Is this by design?

Sticky threads aren't counted and yes, this is by design.

The reason for this is quite simple. If sticky threads were counted and you had 10 sticky threads and you show 10 threads per page, you would never see any other threads as the sticky threads are always there.
