I'm curious. If VB were to take over xenforo's software as I result of a "settlement" would you become a vbulletin customer again to use xenforo software?

I wouldn't. I'll never use V Bulletin again.

Luckily, XenForo was so well-architected, that the third-party community could probably support XenForo from there on. So in the bizarre chance that ever happened...no, I wouldn't need to.

At the end of the day, it IS about the software. So yes - if IB were to take over xenforo, I would indeed likely support xenforo (the software) -- However, F*** INTERNET BRANDS. F*** vBULLETIN =and its current 4.x and 5.shyt versions.

I understand the sentiment, but this kind of speculation has proven somewhat toxic for this community so I am going to lock this. The outcome of the lawsuit is not known yet. Patience is required.
