XF 2.0 Wiki for changes between 1.5 and 2.0?

Is there any sort of doco or Wiki covering the changes between 1.5 and 2.0?

We are taking anywhere from 15 minutes to a number of days to work out how to re-do old template changes, style property changes etc. Not to mention the time taken by other users and Mike to guide different people through the same issues multiple times.

Its probably easier to write down list of thing that are the same. But it would be almost empty list.

XF 1.5 and 2.0 are completely different. Everything has changed. Old template changes and style property changes are not usable.

Yes, that's the problem.

Finding how to update these changes to v 2.0 is taking us a lot of time. Some are easy, others take days of prodding, searching code, and seeking help.

So, that dumps years of acquired knowledge with few guides or maps between old and new methods. Even the official documentation that is there is often basic or incomplete.

Very frustrating and I am sure that comes out in posts and requests for info.

What kind of testing and upgrade path have you done with 2.x in the 14 months it has been out?
Spun up three different systems and upgraded each in turn.

Unfortunately we didn't realise that we should have gone through the v 1.5 doco and manually compared it to the v2 doco to work out how the new software would kill us.

It's just a long hard slog to get information and decipher incomplete doco. A wiki or detailed guide would be an enourmous help, where right now we need to search through a year+ worth of forum threads.

It seems strange that they spent so much effort on creating entirely new software but barely wrote anything down about it. Unless we are missing some other resource?

We're now resigned to our fate, but it has left a bad taste in our mouths. This sort of stuff is why we left VBulletin in 2012.
