Who uses thumbnails?

Since the list of attachments below the post actually has thumbs for them, though admittedly quite small, I see no reason to ever use thumbnails myself. I always go full image, since it resizes to the width of the post anyway. I don't disagree with you 
On most sites I run I set it to 200 pixels or wider, so it's more of a smaller image to not clog up the post vs the full image, rather than it being an actual thumbnail.
