XF 1.4 Where's the log at?

Hello, I am getting a blank page with "An unexpected error occurred. Please try again later.". I want to check the log, where is the xenforo log located? There is a /logs/ folder but it's like monthly logs, is that it? I tried searching on google but it kept affiliating the word "log" with "login" making my search impossible. I added quotes, and then it started using log as a verb for logging in. Someone kill me lol.

Enable debug mode to get a more specific error.

There should also be ACP error log entries.
You should be able to log in directly by navigating to /admin.php.

apprently my xf_session is marked as crashed and should be repaired

You can do that in phpMyAdmin.

Either repair it or truncate it and rebuild the search index in the ACP.

You may even just be able to rebuild it, selecting the option to delete first.
