XF 1.1 Where should I add the statcounter code?

I need to monitor the traffic stats of my forum via statcounter (www.statcounter.com). But I don't know how and where should I add the statcounter code. Please help me.

Putting it in the footer template should work I imagine.

Any reason you're not using Google Analytics instead?

Google Analytics suck when you try to track and analyse keywords.. there is much more in statcounter and they don't hide your keywords!
