SUGGESTION: When e-mailing users, show PREVIEW of E-mail on "Confirm Sending Email" page.

This gives the Admin one last time to verify that everything is correct and that what they see is what the users will get before sending the actual e-mail to all users.

Yes, but that's an extra step.

I'm talking about simply displaying the e-mail in the confirmation page. I can't fathom it would add much code at all to the confirmation page while allowing us Admins a quick final glance before sending off the e-mail to all users.

For example, if there is a typo in the Subject, it will be quickly caught in this "preview" without having to go through the trouble of first sending ourselves a test e-mail.

This shouldn't be a replacement for sending yourself a test e-mail, it should be a complement to it.

The other issue is there are a lot of HTML/CSS items that aren't allowed in email, even though they work fine in a browser... so even with a preview, you really would want to be sending a test message to yourself if it has HTML.

If this is the case and there is no way to display an HTML e-mail on a website in such a way that it respects the limitations of e-mail HTML, then the preview should at least be an option for non-HTML e-mails where there exist no such limitations. The idea is to be able to see what you are about to send to all users in order to have a final opportunity to check for any mistakes.

Surely this is what you get in the Email body box? If you're not entering HTML in there, then it is plain text and what users will see when they receive the email.

+1 to this. Even certain email clients can end up formatting things in a really strange way. Check out this chart of what certain email clients do and do not handle correctly:

As for plain text emails - you could always just drop them into LibreOffice or Microsoft Office and do a spell check and paste the final copy in before sending? Though most browsers have built in spell checking now.
