I have had a wonderful run with vBcredits on my vB3.6 - my forum is for health professionals, so we got the 'credits' terminology changed to 'CPD Points' (Continuing professional development) that they can redeem for a certificate of learning that is accepted by their registration body as continued learning. We never updated from 3.6 due to some other custom mods that we had done that could not be carried over.
Now is the time to bite the bullet and move on. I am always very loyal to companies, and I have tried to want to stay with vB, but to my surprise i leaning towards Xenforo (I have read widely and tried to ignore all the fan boy comments).
One of the big stumbling blocks to a Xenforo move is the vBcredits and if they can be imported into Xenforo or if there is going to be another option.
I did read this from a few yrs back: http://xenforo.com/community/threads/xfcredits.5336/ , but as stated, it was on hold.
Anyone have any idea of plans on this? (I have cross posted this post to the Dragon Byte site)
