XF 2.0 What is the trick to get extra.less to work?

How come when I add the following to extra.less it's not working.



I was expecting that when I switch to the Default style dark I would see a black background.

Since you are changing html it could be that another element over it (like body) takes style precedence. You should not only check the visual of the site, but inspect the HTML element directly with some developer tool in the browser to check if it works or not.

Also you should really never use !important, it is not the best way to go about changing CSS.

I've tried changing several elements, nothing works.

I have looked using the Inspect Element, no changes are made to the elements.

I found the problem. It was a Template modification issue.
