XF 1.4 What is affected when upgrading?

Fantastic! Can't wait.

Now, this will be the first time I will actually be installing an update. I've been concerned that updates would write-over some of my existing changes. What, exactly, will an update write-over (add-ons, template mods, css mods)???

None of your add-ons or customisations will be overwritten.

If a phrase or template you have edited has been updated in the new release, it will be marked as outdated.

You can then merge or revert and reapply your edits.

Third party styles and add-ons may need to be updated to work in the new release.
