Discussion in 'XenForo Questions and Support' started by marissa Desanta, Sep 28, 2014.

  1. And how do I find it.... is it something on filezilla or my web host?
I'm trying to install an add on ...is that the public html?

It's wherever you uploaded the base XenForo files to, probably public_html but it varies depending on your host/setup.

It's where you see all of your files like index.php and your installation.

    For example
    public_ftp
    public_html
    .cpanel
    .somethingelse
    .beenalongtimesinceusingthiskindalayout

say that's your directory layout, and you uploaded XenForo to public_html, that'd be your document root. If you made a directory inside public_html called forums for example, and uploaded XenForo there, that'd be your document root.
