my domains are parked at cloudflare and I hear that can be problematic, I got some advice to use the built in xenforo php email system and to move my domains over to a different registrar.I've been using SendGrid for transactional emails for years. It's been flawless (so far).
Amazon SES isn't user intuitive, I even tried to pay someone on Fivver to do it for $100 and it turns out they are just scammers all over that site now. I did get my money back though.I had a go at setting up Amazon SES and gave up! I mean I think I'm fairly intelligent but the set up process was just unintelligible! Maybe I should have tried harder.

I also use mxroute, 4 years issue free.I ran my own mailserver for years. But don't do it, it gives you a world of problems. Mainly has to do with IP reputation and constant spamfilter tweaking.
I switched to https://mxroute.com/
Cheap and works great. Just one caveat, you can send a maximum of 400 mails per hour.
How does it integrate (or replace) Xenforo's native bounce and unsubscribe handlers?I also use mxroute, 4 years issue free.
