What email provider will cover my board?

As a person happy with SES, what's the advantage(s) of Mandrill?

My volume is low enough that I fit in their free tier - Amazon was only a few bucks a month but if I can get the same quality of service for free, I'll take it. Mandrill also seemed to provide a bit more utility than SES, which came across very barebones. Mandrill has reporting and some other neat features built into the service.
 
Using Mandrill and I'm sending 44,000+ emails per month paying only $4 to 5 USD per month :)

Sorry for the confusion but my statement on post #24 is just a summarize/average I pay monthly.
