XF 2.0 What does search actually search?

On one of the XF V2.0.12 forums where I admin, a member recently complained that he couldn't find the "jobs board". I was able to confirm that this was true.

We have a category called Marketplace which includes the word "jobs" as well as a forum in that category which has the word "jobs". The search index was built (and just now rebuilt) to include everything. But I can confirm that a search or advanced search using the Everything tab for "jobs" does not display either of these.

It seems that search is only searching threads and posts.

Is this a configuration issue? If so, how do I rectify it?

Category and forum titles are not indexed.

Lack of interest - Searching should allow hits to actual forums

I think forums should show up (at the top) of a search if the search terms match a forum. Currently forum names aren't in the search index ! Same goes for Resource Manager Categories, or Gallery Albums :) maybe Resource Manager Tags ?

Strongly recommend to use the following add-ons with this add-on: Elasticsearch Essentials v2.0.0 (or newer) XenForo Enhanced Search Example screenshot:

(Had a node for each TV title)

Might be worth approaching author about a XF2 version.
