Watch, pay or go away: Google to enable publishers to charge users with ad blockers

I'm not actually against this. I'm very much stuck between a rock and a hard place in terms of ad block. I want to show my support to the websites I frequent, but the amount of ads and their content is getting out of hand.

If there was a way I could subscribe to a service that prevented the ads, but a portion of the money I paid for that went to the website publishers, I'd probably sign up.

Our solution is to use non off the ad providers.

We have only adds from direct customers and the amount is stable over the years.
So our forum is not a wallpaper of ads.

And the income we generate with this is enough to cover our expenses like server, licenses.
