Lack of interest View more to go to page-2

When looking at 'Whats New' posts you get the option to 'View More' using the link at the bottom-right of the page when there are more to view.

Clicking this link then reopens the page and adds a page index to the top-left starting with page 1, the page that you were initially on.

Would it not be better to have the 'View More' open up page-2 rather than page-1 which has already been read ?

ie: Page -1 which 'View More' reopens... https://xenforo.com/community/forums/xenforo-suggestions.18/

Suggested page, Page-2 ..... https://xenforo.com/community/forums/xenforo-suggestions.18/page-2

Page index would then show the user at page 2 with the option to select 3, 4, 5 etc or go back to 1

You're not quite right. It also displays more when clicking View More (you go from having the first 10 to the whole first page).

There was a lot of discussion in the beta and a lot of people don't like how the What's New page works. You can quite easily change it to point to just the New Posts page though which is what we've done.
