I like to see the newest posted messages in a conversation first vs. wading through all the old messages.

Is that a feature or add on in XenForo?

There is no option for that. But it's possible with a small code edit. You can modify the files or implement the change as an addon by extending the conversation model.

Possible, yes. Simple, no.

"Possible" from coders is a very dangerous answer. I'll leave that as a major core issue. It's such a natural way to look and participate in conversations but few of the modern forum softwares do it. I think all of the old time commercial forums (CompuServe, AOL, Well) were all threaded.
