vBulletin3.8/3.7 and symbolic links

does vBulletin importers work with symbolic links?

I have in the master drive in user account a very large filesystem attachments folder with 2o gigs and I wont be able to finish the xen import proccess because the hard drive will be full, thats why I am thinking to move the attachments folder to the slave drive and symlink it to the user account, would vB importer work for that situation?

any advice would be preciated

Symlinks would be handled at the OS level, so there shouldn't be any issue at our level.
