XF 1.4 vBulletin 4 Import

Hello, I've purchased XF yesterday and I'm trying to do an import from VB4.
When I do the import of threads, posts and forums the spanish special characters are transformed into question mark symbols.
Examples: Guías become Gu?as, Diseño become Dise?o.
I tried an import forcing the charset with ISO 8859-1 and UTF-8.

I've searched in the forums with no luck, some people says it is a bug from the importer...

The source borard has vB with spanish languague pack with ISO 8859-1 and I don't know if that is related with this issue.

You likely need to look at forcing it to latin1 specifically -- that is ISO-8859-1 but that's not a character set MySQL knows (as far as I understand).

Thank you Mike, seems to be that "utf8" solved the issue.
