I can only guess that the conversion to UTF-8 failed as the string definitely doesn't look like UTF-8. In general, I've only seen this fail if iconv has internal problems. I've only seen it once before.

I might need to look at this while it's running on your server to determine what's going on. If you can submit a ticket with FTP and ACP login details, I can look at it. (Bearing in mind that it is 10:30 PM on Friday :))
