Design issue [vBulletin 3 importer] Passwords with special characters not importing properly?

This is unconfirmed and will require further testing.

The vBulletin 3 importer might not be properly importing passwords with special characters like "ñ". For example in vBulletin if the user "Mike" has the password "ñoño" when trying to use his password to login at XF the system will not recognize the password.

This is really an issue with how the passwords are represented in vB. There is client-side handling there that actually causes the password to be represented differently when the password has special characters in it. This is very difficult to attempt to reproduce in PHP and this is only the first or second time I've seen a comment about it.
