vb to xf

    hi,
    i have vb forums wich have 260.000 users and 6,400,000 posts.
    can i upgrade xf myforum?
    but i dont know how i can upgrade this system?
    is xenforo work this forum(260.000 users and 45.000-60.000 hits per day)

    Yes, Xenforo will be able to handle it fine :) We have a smaller userbase and less posts than you, however we do have between 40,000-70,000 hits pageviews per day and XF is doing just grand, you can check it out, www.p8ntballer-forums.com

    Depending on if you are on vb3 or vb4 there are importers available to import your forum into xenforo from vbulletin.

    If you have purchased Xenforo, drop me a pm, I don't mind lending a hand :)

    With such a large board, you would also ideally want to pick up the XenForo enhanced search addon also.

    i have 260.000 users and over 6 million message.Will xf work speedly with this users and post?

    Yes, there are already larger forums converted and doing fine. In fact I believe with XF they are now less server intensive. :)

    You will be very surprised on how much resources you'll save switching to XenForo.

    With 100 people online + a few other 3rd party mods added... XenForo is currently using only 5MB of memory

    If you would like someone to perform the conversion for you, we offer such services. Feel free to check the first link in my signature for some additional details.

    If your current server supports vBulletin with this amount of traffic, it should not have any issues running XenForo with similar numbers.
