Hi,
I noticed Xenforo will have importers for IPB and Vb 3.8 but not phpbb.
This thread is to sell and resell vb licenses to phpbb forum owners with the purpose of doing the migration phpbb >> vbulletin >> xenforo.
To make this work we need to agree on the following:
- Current market price of vb license: $0
- All buyers promise to resell to next buyer ASAP after migration
- All vb license sales come with option of first seller to get back the license at $0.
So basically we'll be sharing licenses, but by 'selling' them we should meet the vbulletin license guidelines.
I used to have a vb 3.8 license bought a few months before vb4, not sure if it's still active, but if it is, I'll be the first seller in this thread. Who is the first 'buyer'?
Let's keep track of licenses in the following format:
Vb 3.8 License 1 (Peter-Jan): (awaiting first buyer)
P.S. I did not check the vb license nor is this legal advice. Let's discuss the technicalities of this idea.
