XF 1.3 [vB 3.8] What to do with these links?

Hi. There is a mod called Advanced User Tagging for vBulletin 3.8 that alters strings like this:

@Mike

to:

@[URL="http://site.com/member.php?u=2"]Mike[/URL]

What's the best way to deal with those links after the migration? Thanks.
