VB 3.8.6 import

There was a fire at my datacenter and I am thinking of importing Vbulletin 3.8.6 to Xeneforo instead of trying to restore the EOL product. They are putting together a new server so I need to know what it will take take to do this. Can I just use the mysql data backup from the VB setup and import to a new install, or do I need to restore the entire VB setup first? Will install on server not cloud.

You just need the database and any files which were uploaded by members, such as avatars, attachments, etc.

The VB software isn't required.
