XF 1.2 Using a style property next to a string

So I didnt know how to word the title, so let me explain.

I have a variable, @var, and this evaluates to some scalar number, say 10. But when I use it in the style properties, I want it to be 10px.

I've tried {xen:calc @var}px and other variances, but it's not working.

Any ideas?
