XF 2.2 Users Batch update, Require two-step verification

We accidentally activated Two-Step Verification for all user groups, and we are receiving a lot of complaints.

In the batch-update users, we are unable to disable "Require two-step verification" for everyone. How can we disable it for all members of a specific user group?

Just disable the permission in the user group - set it to no.

We have already done it, but users who have used the two-step verification in the meantime still have the functionality active even when disabling it with "no" from the group.

They need to disable it in their account settings and once done, they won't be prompted to set it up again.
