Usernames not updating after change

Not sure if this is a bug or part of the design...

If I edit a username, the changes are not made throughout the forum. The names change in the topic list but on the main forum list the "last" post data is not updated. I guess for a busy forum this is not a problem but for one in testing prior to launch it just looks a bit odd.

Could be APC cache?

I've noticed this before, but it does get updated.
Tried running all rebuilds and crontabs from Tools/ yet?

Last post data is only updated after rebuilding thread and forum information: APC -> Tools -> Rebuild Caches
