XF 1.2 Username - smiles

I have never seen this before but I had a user sign up with a smiley face in their username. Is there a way to not have the option not to do so?

Yes- just one smile at the end of her username. But it was an actual Xenforo smile.

Her name and a smile literally. In the ACP as well.

Ah, okay, so as @Chris Deeming suggested above - using ALT+no. - for example:

ALT+1 = ☺
ALT+2 = ☻
ALT+3 = ♥
ALT+4 = ♦

Etc.?

I assume this is something @Mike would need to look at for a future fix (non-standard characters allowed in username)?

Untested but using regex for username validation should be able to deal with that.
