XF 1.5 Usergroup Permission Question - revoking one permission

I want to create a usergroup that does not have the ability to give (Luke F's) Post Ratings, but have all other permissions remain the same. I want the user to still have their usergroup's permissions (based on post count), but just remove the ability to rate posts.

If I create a new usergroup with all permissions set at Not Set (No) and change the Post Ratings setting for 'Rate Posts' to Never, is that going to do the trick?

I also assume that usergroup needs to have a higher styling priority than my highest regular usergroup.

Yes, that will achieve it.

The display styling priority is unrelated to permissions, it applies to user name styling and banners only.
