XF 2.0 Usergroup issue

Hi i have found an issues with Xenforo 2
Paid user upgrades
I have had many users that have upgrads say that they havent got permission on the forum, there primary usergroup is registered there 2nd usergroup is Paid so it looks like the secondary group inst activating and they still have the primary groups permissions

I have rebuilt user group cache and still the same issue

Anyone help?

Yea everting has been working fine for the last 2 years.

If I set the user as primary to the upgrades account they get permissions , but for the upgrade account to work it adds them as secondary so don't really want to change users primary as they won't downgrade .

I have noticed if I changed permissions of registered user account the changes don't work.

I have uninstalled new plugins also just to narrow them out

You should not be changing the primary/secondary - leave the primary as registered.

Permissions are cumulative - no user group has priority over the other.
As long as Never is not used, the permissions from multiple groups will work.
