User Upgrades

Hey, quick question, is there an easier way to make the user upgrade progress more stream lined? Other than creating new user groups? We are trying to implement them on SWC but it appears we need to create an individual groups for each tier

A group is simply a permission set with a name, I'm not sure how else you want it to work?

I am trying to get it to where a User upgrade can take away seeing ads automatically once they upgrade and some other features and was curious if it can be done automatically.

As stated by @beerForo , this is accomplished by user groups. Set up promotions as needed.

You just set that in the Admin Control Panel > Setup Advertising placement, which user groups get shown or not. Then it’s automatic as the user gets automatically assigned a usergroup via promotion or upgrade.

Pretty simple. Create the group. Assign the permissions. In your advertisement settings choose to not show them to this group. Now create the promotion or paid upgrade to the group. Done.
