XF 1.4 User Tagging Auto-Complete

Is this activity-based now? When was this change made, exactly? Looks like it was sometime during 1.4, but I'm not sure when and I can't find anything in the Have You Seen...? forum.

I noticed that if I start tagging someone who hasn't been on in a while, the auto-complete won't come up; on another forum I'm a member of (where there are a lot of members), if I want to tag someone with symbols at the end of their name, I can do so with ease now rather than having to find their name in my followings or whatever and copy and paste. I wasn't able to do that before when the forum on 1.3, which it was on for quite a while after 1.4 was released.

The fact that I'm only noticing this now, though, means there's something wrong with me. Send help immediately.

On another note, I was about to ask if that period of time could be changed, but just saw that there's currently no option. Six months sounds fair to me, though, honestly.
