User reported post and now post is gone

one of my users wrotee a post and instead of "Post Reply", the user clicked onto "Report".
So the user´s post is not visible in the Forum anymore. I do not understand why his post is not visible anymore.

How do I release the user´s post, so that it will be visible in the Forum?

I've split your post off Erich as the thread you posted it on wasn't suitable.

Presumably the user in question clicked on Report for the post above the editor?
In which case, if they didn't submit their post then it wasn't actually posted.

If the user clicked report instead of post reply, then they didn't click post and it wasn't posted

I can click the report overlay with a post in the editor and it works fine, so I'm unsure as to why the user didn't just cancel the overlay and click reply...

the user clicked onto "Report" and wrote his post into the "Report" pop-up-window, instead of writing the post into the Editor. Weird, took me a while to figure that out
