XF 2.1 User Registration & Login Error

I did a fresh installation of Xenforo but I have few problems that are not being captured on the logs.
1) One cannot registrar or login.
2 ) You cannot view user profile.
3) When trying to access new posts am getting "Url requested was not found on the server"

You have Friendly URLs implemented but either the .htaccess file is missing, or the server does not support it.

Try renaming the htaccess.txt file in the XF root directory to .htaccess.

Done so but no changes.

Then you will need to contact your host to ensure the server is configured to support it.

Or disable Friendly URLs in the ACP.

When I disable friendly Urls, everything runs normal. My concern is, is there a way i can run the forum conveniently using friendly urls? I have contacted my host and he is claiming the the server is configured to support the above.
