XF 2.1 User permissions

I added a permission to a user in Groups & permissions > User permissions and removed it but there username is still in the list on that page. Why is that? I tried rebuilding user cache and rebuilt clean up permission cache but still not being removed. I am 100% certain it has the same permissions as any other user now and i've doubled checked and checked and still no idea!

Identical question and issue....I see no means of removing users from this list.

Did you find a solution? Or is this a bug that needs reporting?

I ran "clean up permissions" in the Admin > Tools > Rebuild Caches area and then re-did all the user permissions....and it corrected itself.

Carryover/cleanup from XF1.5 I suspect....

Yeah I tried that before and again now but still the user is in the user permissions list even though all his permissions are default so no idea why the user is still in that state!

Set every permission to "no" for each user, using the "quick set" in the upper left.

There was a permission set to Yes by default for an add-on I am using, set that to no and it worked.
