XF 1.5 User Group Permissions - Security Error Occured

Any time I try to update user group permissions for any usergroup, this error happens after I save. Nothing shows in the server error logs

Normally this would be caused by the value of the max_input_vars configuration in PHP. The default is 1000 which should be more than enough for this page though. Worth double checking though.

If you have anything like Suhosin installed, I'd recommend disabling it to see if that resolves the issue.

The issue just randomly solved itself. Nothing was done on our end per your recommendations just decided to start working today.
