XF 2.2 User emailing not sending in html

I want to use html in the emails I send a user group via the ACP. I check the box that says send using HTML.

However, the email is sent as one text block with all html stripped out. My mail client can receive html so I don't know what's wrong.

Any ideas?

That only happens when you send a test email. I sent an email to myself using the ACP. It should have sent it using html but didn’t.

Dunno.
Perhaps PHP cannot handle it, changing it to SMTP could solve your problem.

PHP mail processor should simply hand it off to the MTA on the server being used... which should the simply ship it out.

So I figured out how to send emails via PHP using the ACP. When you use the built in HTML, you need to do full html for the formatting. Seems obvious now.

Is there anywhere that describes the HTML wrapper that the system uses? For example, it seems to have pre-built wrapper dimensions that I'd like to change. Perhaps it's a template?
