Add-on Use xenforo as an article comment system on external pages

Specifically, Joomla, and specifically K2 articles. In the absence of an official CMS, or a redeveloped xenPorta, moving away from Joomla / K2 isn't really an option for me.

Admittedly this is a bit of a long shot...

I'd like to unify the two and allow forum users to post comments on site articles. I'd used jfusion in the past for VB integration but it never really worked the way I wanted it to.

What I'm thinking is there'd be a comments forum, with 1 forum thread per-site article for comments on that article (i already have this bit automated via RSS posting), but what I don't have is the posts from these threads embedded as comments below the K2 article, or the ability to post to the thread from within the article page.

I can do a mockup if this isn't clear, but I think you probably know what I mean even without my crummy explanation.

I believe there's a bridging script you could try using, jfusion? Does that support xenforo yet?

not officially as far as i know and, purely based on my own less than stellar efforts to use it with joomla & VB, i think i'd like to see this as a more specific-to-XF commenting addon.

Try a search on this site regarding Crazyengineers and their changes from WordPress over to XF only. The results are pretty good.

Crazyengineers have modified the layout to reflect a website style with discussions below.

A nice addon would be to have an external website and comments loaded FB style in the end of it through XF
