XF 1.2 Use an image as background

I want to use an image for the background, not just change colours. I cannot see where to upload the image or point to its URL.
Also I know the header and the content area have two different background controls. So how to make it seamless so there is not a boundary line between the two on each side?

Define it in your ACP -> Style Properties -> General -> HTML background, make the ACP -> Style Properties -> General -> Content transparent maybe?
I'm assuming you are referring to the base background - your question was not very specific to area and I am just going off the second line of your request.
