XF 2.0 urls are different, help please

Hi. Just done an upgrade on a test server. The urls are different between XF1.4 and XF2

XF1.4... https://www.28dayslater.co.uk/weston-point-power-station-runcorn-may-2011.t60571

XF2... https://www.28dayslater.co.uk/threads/weston-point-power-station-runcorn-may-2011.60571/

I'd rather revert back to the 1.4 url format if possible, using htaccess or whatever.

Can anyone advise please?

Your 1.4 URL is not the standard URL, so presumably it was from an add-on. You would need an equivalent one with 2.0.

Hi Mike, it was Shorter Routes by Waindigo. Themehouse haven't updated it yet.

Is there anything I can do with htaccess to at least direct incoming traffic to the correct place?

I'll stick with the default XF2 url I guess.

How do I write a htaccess 301 redirect to move the XF1 urls to the XF2 default?

The same redirects would apply when the add-on is disabled, so the add-on author may have them to hand. It might actually be ideal to ask them -- it'd be something they should likely know anyway.
