According to the XenForo manual...

I've downloaded the XenForo files after purchasing.
I've unzipped them.

Under the "upload" directory, there are subdirectories and individual files.
I select them all and dragged them over to the FTP upload window on my server cPanel.
Everything uploads except those subdirectories (folders).

Now what? Thanks!

Everything uploads except those subdirectories (folders).
What do you mean?

You should upload everything inside the "upload" folder, including subfolders and files.

Just unzip the downloaded file. Go inside the "upload" folder, drag and drop everything.

Set "data" and "internal_data" folders (recursively which means everything inside, too!) permissions to 0777

After that, create a database and and set a database name and password.

Then visit "YOURDOMAIN.com/install" .

Follow the instructions, done.

Yeah. Did that. The subfolders (inside the upload folder) won't upload via the FTP portal.
I've been exchanging messages with KnownHost support. I figured out how to upload the zip file.
She has offered to unzip them in place. So, we'll see how that goes.

Thanks for your input!

That sounds like she might unzip them but still inside the upload folder. They must all be moved from within that folder which is just a container.

The xenForo folder and file system should be directly within the domain root (public_html or whatever it is)
