XF 2.1 Upload dir

I'm moving my site to a new server and the .tgz is 46GB, I've looked on the server and I have a directory called uploads, it has lots of other attachment dirs in, but nothing newer than 2016, so I'm guessing this is part of the other software I was using and is left over from the migrate, is it safe to remove it?

Was the other software IPS Forums? If so, then yeah, that's likely from that software. Anything which would have been stored in there we would have copied over to our data/internal_data directories during the import so it shouldn't be needed anymore.
