XF 2.1 Upgrading to SSL under XF2.1

However, is the process the same for Xf2.1? Or alternatively is there any guide or does anyone have any pointers for doing this under XF2.1 please??

Ok, so I'm trying to get an SSL to work on my forum (www.GamingSection.net) and I want the forum and all of its content to always load in https:// How can this be done well also always having the www. infront of it. I looked in the XenForo backend, there is no where to check off saying to use...

Just make sure the board URL is correct with HTTPS, and enable URL canonicalization and that will force HTTPS.

HI all,
Just to follow up on this, I was surprised how simple this was... Just updated the Text in the .htaccess file, changed the Board and Associated Urls, and opened back up and all seems to be running really smoothly!

Only one issue i have found than that is around some of the media links... Will have a play and hopefully will be able to sort those also (only on one or two destinations).
