XF 2.2 Upgrading to 2.2.7 Crashed Dev Site

That could be the problem. XF likes the latest versions, if possible. That’s what I’m on and it works perfectly.

If that option isn’t available to you, see if you can upgrade php to 7.4 at least and try the upgrade again. 7.2 is really old and I believe deprecated.

We like the versions we say we do.

Minimum PHP 7.0, MySQL 5.5. There are no issues with the versions in this case.

No, highly unlikely. PHP 7.2 is a popular version.

These kinds of things are generally file copy issues which is why Brogan has recommended reuploading the files.

I ended up manually uploading the updates and the dev site is back in working order. I’ve not managed to attempt to update the live forum yet.
