XF 1.5 Upgrade from 1.5.14 to latest with Xenforo help?

Hi,

Obviously my current installation have stopped working since it is an old version.

I am interested in upgrading my install to latest version from v. 1.5.14.
I had license that expired 2018. It has always been kind of difficult for me to upgrade so only upgraded once since 2015.
On top of this I have a skin that needs upgrading too, but I want that gone to make things easier in the future!

And I would pay the $50 upgrade fee to get this done, is the above included in Xenforo´s upgrade service?
Just wantto double check if it is even an idea to do this?

The upgrade service only covers the XF software and official add-ons.

It doesn't cover any third party add-ons, styles, or languages.

Obviously my current installation have stopped working since it is an old version.

There is no reason why XF1 would stop working unless the hosting environment changed.
Many customers are still running XF1.

I also need to remove external current skin which I would need to do then myself.
Dont know how and what could happen but it needs to be removed.

Is there a way to use followers on Patreon, to give them access to the Xenforo forum?
I was thinking of taking monthly payments via Patreon.com and then the person have access to Xenforo forum too?

Or what is the possibilities to take payments for forum access in Xenforo?
