XF 1.4 Upgrade from 1.4.4

I would like to upgrade from 1.4.4 to 1.4.6
Can I do that directly or I need to upgrade from 1.4.4 to 1.4.5 and then from 1.4.5 to 1.4.6?

You can do it directly.

Technically, you can jump from version 1.0.0 to 1.4.6 (just takes a little longer )

I have another question for you, if possible.
I'm using a style from a third party company and every time an update of Xenforo is installed I have to set re-configure everything manually.
Is there a way to keep the style values saved somewhere and restoring if after upgrading Xenforo?
I know this question is not properly for you, but if you can give me a suggest on best approach for upgrading everything I will be glad.

Note that the style will more than likely have to be upgraded when upgrading XenForo, although it depends on the style.
