Lack of interest Updated installed resources

Similar to vb.org's ,

After downloading the resource, if the user installed it, s/he can mark it as installed.
Any update after the latest "installed" version would be marked by the system as an update which can be filtered out.

I realise it's a suggestion for the core software but products exist in the RM to automatically update any existing add-ons as the updates become available which removes the step of you filtering add-ons with updates and manually applying them.
