XF 1.5 Unwanted Char Appears at Last Word of Email Subject

I am such a newbie.

Lately I've realized that all of my emails that sent to members (or recipients) contains an unwanted character of:

)

Please see the image attached below.


Where did the char come from? Where do I find this unwanted mistyping or how to fix?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like an email generated by the Inactive Members add-on?

If that's the case, I would first check the phrase "inactivemembers_subject" for a typo.

Yes the email is generated by Inactive Members add-on. I have checked all the phrase and nothing wrong. And the ')' char does not only appear on email generated by that add-on, but also comes from our Contact Us page.

If people send email via contact us, I will also receive email with the subject ending with ')', which is weird Any suggestion?

I have checked them all and all is fine, there is no unwanted ")" there
