XF 2.2 Unread nodes title - inspector strike css

I am trying to change the nodes unread titles. I have added this into the extra.less




But the color doesn't change. When i open the inspector i see that the color is striked through.




I have then tried to change the color directly in the template:

but same problem, I can see in the inspector that the color is striked..
(I have removed all other extra.less codes to avoid conflict)

Do you have any why?

Can this be done for thread titles too?

Even with unread being bold in my dark style, it's hard to differentiate what thread is read/unread.

Yes, that's why it's sometimes easier to adjust the styles separately (light and dark). If you're just playing with the style properties, you should find the right colours to fit both, but if you go into the extra.less area, things can get complicated for system variation. Well, it depends, of course.

I've had problems with one of my forums using the [data-variation="alternate"]. Overall, it was easier to find solutions only via style properties.
